At Spain Sober Living, we believe that community and connection are vital to the recovery process. Our ongoing events are designed to foster a sense of belonging and provide opportunities for personal growth. Each month, we host a variety of activities including group therapy sessions, recovery workshops, and social gatherings. These events are carefully curated to support our residents’ sobriety journey, offering both educational and recreational experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

In addition to our in-house events, we also organize outings to local attractions and community events in Austin. Whether it’s a group hike, a visit to a cultural festival, or attending a recovery-related seminar, these activities help our residents build strong, positive relationships and enjoy a fulfilling sober lifestyle. Our event calendar remains consistent to provide stability and routine, with any changes or special events noted in advance. Join us at Spain Sober Living and be a part of a vibrant, recovery-focused community.

Lawrance Spain, our founder, firmly believes in the importance of building strong connections with and among residents. By engaging in fun and meaningful activities together, we create an atmosphere of openness and trust. Lawrance's hands-on approach and genuine interest in each resident's journey foster a sense of camaraderie, making everyone feel valued and understood. This nurturing environment is essential for personal growth and long-term recovery.

Every month, Lawrance Spain, the founder of Spain Sober Living, hosts a delightful BBQ for residents of both the North and South houses. This cherished event is a time for everyone to relax, enjoy great company, and celebrate the strides made in their recovery journeys. The monthly BBQ fosters a sense of community and provides a fun, supportive environment where residents can connect, share their experiences, and support each other in a relaxed setting. Join us for a day of good food, laughter, and camaraderie as we honor the progress and achievements of our vibrant recovery community.

Every Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm, Spain Sober Living offers an optional reclaimed wood workshop. This hands-on class not only helps residents build valuable woodworking skills but also keeps the mind sharp and focused. Engaging in creative and productive activities like woodworking is an excellent way to support long-term recovery from substance abuse. It provides a constructive outlet for stress, enhances problem-solving abilities, and boosts self-esteem. Join us in transforming reclaimed wood into beautiful creations while strengthening your recovery journey through skill-building and mindful engagement.

Through genuine connections, mutual support, and shared experiences, our residents find solace, encouragement, and a sense of belonging. Our vibrant community fosters accountability, provides a safe space for growth, and celebrates each individual's journey towards wellness.

Networking plays a crucial role in enhancing the structure and support systems within our homes.
